Example: A simple trip from Acton Town to Wood Green would normally require a single trip on the Piccadilly Line, but because of the Piccadilly Line closure between Hyde Park Corner and Arnos Grove, such journeys would undoubtedly be much more complicated. Metro with the London Special database solved that with a simple instruction:
Take the District Line eastbound to Victoria (you can also use the Piccadilly Line/District Line route where you should ideally change at Earl's Court although I prefer changing at Hammersmith). At Victoria take the northbound Walthamstow Central national rail service to Seven Sisters. Once there take the Special Bus B to Wood Green (direction: Arnos Grove). Nifty eh?

Metro is compatible on PDAs running Pocket PC, PalmOS, Symbian UIQ and Symbian Series 80. You can also use Metro on Smartphones running Symbian Series 60 or Microsoft Smartphone.
If you prefer a program with a GUI of Mr. Beck's tube map try Visual IT's Tube 2 London instead.

Cheers for the tip! I have a Nokia 6600 and this will come in really handy.
Never knew Metro could run on Symbian...
btw, somebody bloody update the KL Metro routes already! It's a few years old!
Yeah, the developers has put much effort in it. They have web based Metro too.
Regarding KL database, why don't you send the timetables to Patrice and Frank? They are the ones who update the database based on timetables/maps contributed by users. I can't help though, it is so so so difficult to find a KL metro map online.
