Hehe, just got my tickets for Ben & Jerry's Sundae 2005 on August 7th ("holy" Sunday) at Clapham Common. My first paid festival this summer would you believe! After all the cancellations and bullshits I finally confirmed my attendance for the festival. Mind you, August is going to be a busy month what with Tube Relief 2005 and the Notting Hill Carnival.
Anyway The Thrills, Alabama 3, British Sea Power, Yeti, Sophie Barker (Zero 7) and Lemon Jelly's Fred Deaking will be there performing. Hear that? British Sea Power! And with free Ben & Jerry ice cream too.

If Malaysian Customs can be 'cheated' by such amateurishly con-men, then maybe they deserved to be cheated.
This whole issue is pathetic. When Malaysians start turning car import into a national issue worthy of front page coverage then it doesn't take a genius to figure out where the country's priority lies.
I on the other hand, will just watch this from a safe distance, face grinning with amusement over the whole shenanigans.

Was on the South Kensington District Line platform yesterday evening trying to get down to the Piccadilly Line platform. Surrounded by pesky European/Asian/American teenage tourist kids on organised tour. Grr...
On a more amusing note, a couple of these teenage kids were baffled by how Tube tickets work. On noticing a couple of commuters swiping their Oyster Cards over the RFID reader, these kids promptly tried to scan their paper tickers over the reader. Heh.
