Dexter, one of my favourite TV series, is being adapted into a video game. Honestly this is something that can be awful or brilliant, depending on how the developer (Marc Ecko, who?) pull it off. They could make it bloody awful by emulating Manhunt, but I hope not. Part of Dexter's appeal as a TV series isn't the visceral killing scenes (which are pretty rare for a series which focuses on a serial murderer), but Dexter's own complex personality. And that is something I could not see being translated into a video game well.
We will see, but chances are it will be a terrible game.
